FC Tampa Bay Rowdies of the United Soccer Leagues Conference of the US Soccer Federation Division II League announced the signings Tuesday of five players.

Goalkeeper Daryl Sattler was the 2009 USL Second Division Goalkeeper of the Year for the now defunct Wilmington Hammerheads, where he played in 13 games.

Goalkeeper Phillip Lamarre joins the Rowdies after playing three seasons (2006-08) with Florida Atlantic University. He was team captain for the 2007 and 2008 squads and started 55 games in his career. Lamarre holds school records for most shutouts (14) and most minutes played (5,091:50), and is second in saves (205) and wins (22).

Forward Long Tan was the top goal scorer for the Atlanta Blackhawks in the USL Premier Development League in 2009 and spent the previous six seasons playing for three different teams in Shanghai, China.

Forward Aaron Wheeler left FC Reading United in the PDL, where he was the league Most Valuable Player and top goal scorer in 2008 with 18, to join the Rowdies. He split his collegiate career between Towson University and Lenoir-Rhyne College.

Forward Gordon Kljestan was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2007 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, then signed to play for the New York Red Bulls in 2008. He last played 22 games for the former Cleveland City Stars in the USL First Division.
